Local architecture and planning firm, Weber Design Group Inc., completed the design of what Golf magazine describes as the “ideal abode, marrying luxurious comfort and amenities, the ultimate home for any duffer.”

This two-story estate home will be built by BCBE Construction on a homesite along the 14th hole of Talis Park’s Greg Norman-Pete Dye designed golf course with interiors by Design West.

Encompassing 10,297 square feet, this design epitomizes tropical Florida living by beautifully merging the essences of indoor and outdoor living.

From the curbside Caribbean appeal, this golf dream home is comprised of four bedrooms, four full baths, a formal living room, large island kitchen, study with dual-sided fireplace, wine room, upstairs game room, two radial wet bars, an outdoor kitchen and a three-car garage including a separate golf cart garage.

Weber Design Group President Bill Weber’s experience and appreciation for view oriented lots made this particular project a show stopper not only from the front curb appeal but most certainly from the back.

The entry system and motor court set the tone for an upscale, casual feeling one would expect from golf course living. A trellis-covered three-car garage flanks the entry — one side featuring a two-car garage with extra storage for bikes and other sporting equipment. The other side has a one-car garage and includes the golf cart garage with storage to host a virtual golf simulator and golfing accessories.

From the covered entry through large double doors with transoms, the foyer flows into the formal living room embellished by five picture windows overlooking the pool. The nearby wet bar features a radial ceiling design, wine chiller, ice maker, sink and five bar stools for seating. Across from the wet bar is the formal dining room complete with built-in buffet, two 6-foot windows with transoms for natural light and a unique wood beam ceiling design.
