NAPLES, Fla. (Jan. 24, 2013)  It was a perfect strike for charity when Talis Park hosted a Nintendo Wii Sports bowling contest at the Clive Daniel Home Ultimate Builder’s Open House, raising $1,000 to benefit Big Brothers Big Sisters of The Sun Coast. The competition took place in the Talis Park booth during the event held on Wednesday, January 16.

The Talis Park sales team had the “striking” idea to transform their booth into a lively fundraising opportunity to benefit their charity partner. Visitors to the booth were invited to try their hand at Wii bowling, where each strike earned $5 and each spare $2 for Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Sun Coast.

Fostering positive relationships that have a direct and lasting effect on the lives of young people, Big Brothers Big Sisters of The Sun Coast has been making meaningful, monitored matches between adult volunteers (“Bigs”) and children (“Littles”), ages 6 through 18, in the communities they serve for the past 43 years.

“We are very thankful for our partnership with Talis Park and the community’s ongoing support,” said Jenny Stupinski, Community Resource Director of Big Brothers Big Sisters of The Sun Coast. “The Wii bowling event was a lot of fun, and the funds raised will enable us to continue our important work making a difference in the lives of children in our community.”

Last November, Talis Park hosted a wine tasting and raffle event on their Great Lawn which raised more than $10,000 for Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Sun Coast.

“We were delighted to be able to utilize the forum provided by the Clive Daniel Ultimate Builders’ Open House as an opportunity for us to give back to our community,” said John Hillman, Director of Sales and Marketing at Talis Park. “We are especially pleased to be able to continue to support this worthy organization.”

In addition to hosting the Wii bowling fundraising event, guests at the Talis Park booth also enjoyed learning about the newly reinterpreted Talis Park. Conceived as one of the finest golf communities in the nation, Talis Park offers a new take on Naples luxury, one that is more relaxed, refined and ideally suited for today’s healthy, active lifestyle.
