TALIS PARK THINKS “BIG” BY HOSTING BIG BROTHERS BIG SISTERS OF THE SUN COAST CHARITY RAFFLE

NAPLES, Fla. (Nov. 27, 2012)  “Big” things are happening at Talis Park, the new 461-acre country club community centered on Naples’ acclaimed Norman & Dye golf course. With Thanksgiving just behind us, Talis Park is giving thanks to the Naples community having recently hosted a successful charity event and raffle raising more than $10,000 for Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Sun Coast.

On Thursday, November 15, Talis Park welcomed over 75 guests to a “Preview the Park” event and raffle where the grand prize winner took home a luxury trip of their choice to Sonoma, California or Tuscany, Italy. Held on a crisp fall evening, the picturesque Great Lawn provided the perfect setting to kick off Naples’ charitable giving season. Beginning at sunset with a champagne welcome near the future site of the Vyne House club house, guests enjoyed saxophone and jazz music on the lawn, played bocce, and were treated to savory filet mignon bites, pastry-wrapped boursin parcels, gourmet sliders, Thai lettuce wraps and lobster bisque provided by CaterMasters. Wine stations throughout offered samplings from Frank Baroudi’s winery and private reserve in Mendoza, Argentina.

Throughout the evening, guests celebrated the work of Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Sun Coast, which has been making meaningful, monitored matches between adult volunteers (“Bigs”) and children (“Littles”), ages 6 through 18, throughout the Gulf Coast for the past 44 years. Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Sun Coast fosters positive relationships that have a direct and lasting effect on the lives of young people.

“We greatly appreciate Talis Park’s support of our organization, and the funds we raised at this event will enable us to continue our important work making a difference in children’s lives,” said Jenny Stupinski, Community Resource Director of Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Sun Coast.

“Giving back is an integral part of what makes Naples such a special place to live and supporting our community is a priority at Talis Park,” said John Hillman, Talis Park’s Director of Sales and Marketing. “We consider it a privilege to help raise funds for this important organization.”

In addition, guests enjoyed experiencing the newly reinterpreted Talis Park, conceived as one of the finest golf communities in the nation, and being reintroduced with a new take on Naples luxury, one that is more relaxed, refined and ideally suited for today’s healthy, active lifestyle.

Talis Park and its participating builders are currently constructing three refreshing home collections reflecting European and Caribbean styles. Offering free-flowing indoor/outdoor living spaces, the homes will overlook the water or championship golf course with prices ranging from the $700,000’s into the millions.
